Henry Allen

Henry is the course director for the Political Science Bachelor. He has been employed at Oslo Nye Høyskole since autumn 2021. 

Henry is an associate professor of political science. He has been employed at Oslo Nye Høyskole since the autumn of 2021 and has previously been a lecturer at Heltberg Private Gymnasium VGS, course instructor for Bro-Aschehoug and part-time lecturer at UiO. He has previously been a senior research assistant on the project European Commission: Facing the Future. He holds a PhD and a Master’s from the University of East Anglia (UEA). His doctorate on consumer groups was written at the 'Center for Competition Policy' through an ESRC grant. Henry is interested in how policy-making is influenced by different actors in society, how public administration communicates with the public, and how political engagement is influenced by conspiracy theories. He is also interested in innovative ways to teach different aspects of political science.
