Camilla Lindvall Dahlgren

Camilla’s research focuses on the assessment, prevention and treatment of eating disorders. She has over 15 years of experience in eating disorder research and worked at Oslo University Hospital from 2009 to 2022, where she remains an active research collaborator and PhD supervisor. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Oslo and Oslo University Hospital and has held research fellowships at Columbia University, the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and the University of Oxford. At ONH, she leads The Eating Disorder Lab, an interdisciplinary research group bringing together clinicians, researchers, students, and individuals with lived experience to advance knowledge and develop innovative approaches to prevention and treatment. In recent years, she has expanded her research focus to include psychedelic-assisted therapy for eating disorders, an emerging and rapidly evolving field. She is an active member of the Psychedelics Research Group and the Process and Outcome of Eating Disorder Research (PROUD) group at the University of Oslo.

Teaching

At ONH, Camilla teaches abnormal psychology, health psychology, nutritional psychology, and research methods. She also supervises master’s students at ONH and PhD candidates both in Norway and internationally.
