Economist with focus on rural development in Africa and Latin America and the green energy transition through academic and applied research. Now also business development through international trade of sustainable biofuels from Colombia. 25 years’ experience in setting up and executing research projects involving local and international partners. Main research on the management of natural resource and specifically the formalization of land ownership, environment, conflict, rural development, gender, international trade and investment, business development, social capital, renewable energy, and institutional change. Former career as a journalist.
