Cybercrime and Digital Forensics Centre (CDFC)
The Cybercrime and Digital Forensics Center (CDFC) at Oslo New University College focuses on interdisciplinary research addressing the detection, investigation, and prevention of cyber-enabled crime.
The center studies how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, biometrics, and digital forensic methods can be applied to understand and combat cybercrime, for private individuals and the private and public sector. CDFC combines perspectives from cybersecurity, data science, digital forensics, financial crime research, and threat intelligence.
A central goal of the center is to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world challenges faced by individuals, organizations, financial institutions, and public authorities.
